What Does Quality Assurance Mean in Translayte?
Quality Assurance (QA) is a process that aims to guarantee the excellence and dependability of our translations.
This is accomplished by rigorously testing, proofreading, and verifying documents.
In the past, the QA process entailed these two steps:
Step 1 Comparing the newly translated document with the original document provided by the client & checking for misspellings or translation errors.
Step 2 Followed by referencing a checklist before the final submission to ensure that all the assigned tasks regarding the translation have been completed.
Now, with the new QA feature, you can automate the first step, streamlining your translation work in just a few clicks.
Here is how you can do that:
- Visit your Translayte dashboard.
- Select the files you want to translate.
- Translate them and save them for upload to the customer.
- Scroll down to the files section.
- Scroll to the draft section and upload the translated document.
- When the upload is complete, select "Run QA Test"
- Select the drop-down, pick the source document and repeat the same for the target document (your new document).
- Select conduct QA
- Compare the results and make adjustments, as needed.
- Repeat this process until all the issues are resolved.
