Using Custom Domains for Translayte White Label

The Translayte White Label solution enables Translayte's Partners to host a Translation Order form on their website, allowing their customers to utilise the Self-Service platform to Check Prices & Place Orders directly.

Orders placed can then be delivered directly by the Partner's vendors, or by Translayte's network of Professional Translators & Partners.

By default, all White Label partners are presented with a subdomain URL for their portal (e.g. https://partner.thetranslation.store). Partners can however choose to host the portal on their Custom Domain (https://translation.partnersite.com), ensuring a seamless user experience for their users.

To enable the Custom Domain feature, you need to be able to add the following records to your DNS Provider:

1. CNAME Record to point all traffic from your Custom Domain to the Translayte White Label portal.
2. TXT record to confirm ownership of the domain and for Translayte to issue an SSL certificate for the Custom Domain.

Step 1: Notify Translayte of Custom Domain

1. Ensure you have the ability to add new records to your DNS Provider for the intended domain.
2. Notify your Translayte Account Manager of your preferred Custom Domain.

Once we have been informed of your Custom Domain, we will configure it against your White Label account and notify you of the configuration information you need to enter with your DNS provider.

Step 2: Create CNAME & TXT Records

1. Create a CNAME record in your DNS Provider pointing your Custom Domain (e.g. https://translation.partnersite.com) to customers.thetranslation.store
2. Create TXT records with the Name & Values provided by the Translayte Support team on your DNS provider.
3. Notify your Translayte Account Manager that these have been updated.

Once notified, we will verify that the entries are correct and functioning as intended by conducting tests on the Custom Domain. Upon confirmation, you will receive authorization to implement the Custom Domain on your website.
