Shipping Feature Update

Overview:
The new Shipping Feature is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness the shipping process, allowing Admins to manage, assign, and track shipments, while Vendors can create labels, update statuses, and print shipping documents. Customers also benefit by selecting from shipment options, real-time tracking, enhancing visibility and reliability in the delivery process of their shipped documents.
First released to UK, US and Canada shipment tasks and now available to .
Target Users:
- Vendors (Shipping Partners) – Responsible for creating shipments, printing labels, scheduling delivery and updating shipment status.

Each step below is outlined with text and accompanying images for visual clarity.
1.1 Accepting a Shipment Task from Admin
- Scenario: Admin-Assigned Shipment Task
Steps:
Review Assigned Task Notification
Accept Shipment Task
Within the task view, click "Accept Task" to confirm.
Expected Result:
Task appears under the Vendor's active tasks, ready for action.
1.2 Creating a Shipment (Vendor Self-Service)
- Scenario: Vendor Self-Service Shipment Creation
- Objective: Enables vendors to create shipments independently and generate shipping labels.
Once a Task has been assigned successfully, go to the "Create Shipment" section on the header bar of the Vendor’s Dashboard.
Confirm Shipment Details
Input shipper’s Address, alongside the system’s extracted shipment details to “Create Shipment.”
Schedule Pickup
Once shipment details are updated, Vendor can schedule pickup date and time.
Generate Shipping Label
Once pickup is scheduled, Vendor is able to "View Shipments." Click on Preview and you’ll be redirected to the label for print.
4. Print Label and Attach to Package
Review the label generated and click "Print." Attach the label to the package, ready for dispatch.
Expected Result:
A validated shipping label is generated, allowing vendors to proceed with shipping.
1.3 Reschedule Shipment - In the events shipper is unable to deliver on previously set schedule.
- Steps: Navigate the yellow drop-down icon to Reschedule or cancel Shipment
Expected Result: Shippers are able to cancel and reschedule shipments to a convenient date and time.
The accepted fee for shipping is £2.50 unless earlier agreed with the Project Manager assigned to the particular task
