How to Set Profile Away as a Vendor

Overview:

This release introduces two major enhancements to the Availability feature for registered vendor users: 

  1. Add Holiday: Enables vendors to schedule multiple holiday periods for temporary unavailability while maintaining control over their availability status. 
  2. Deactivate Account: Allows vendors to permanently deactivate their account, stopping all updates and jobs from Translayte.

Feature Details: 

1. Add Holiday


  • Vendors can now schedule one or more holiday periods. 
  • Each holiday period requires the input of a start date, end date, and an optional reason for the time away. 
  • This ensures management of Vendors scheduled time away. 

Step-by-Step Guide: Using the Away Feature


Vendors can now schedule one or more holiday periods to manage their availability efficiently. Follow these steps to add a holiday period:

  1. Log In to Your Vendor Account
    • Navigate to the login page and enter your credentials to access your vendor dashboard.

      Access the Holiday Feature

    • Locate the "Schedule Holiday" section. This is on your Dashboard "Settings" then click on "Availability" tab.

      Add a New Holiday

    • Click the "Add Holiday" button.
    • Input Holiday Details
    • Start Date: Select the date your holiday begins using the calendar picker.
    • End Date: Select the date your holiday ends.
    • Reason (Optional): Enter a reason for your holiday (e.g., vacation, or personal leave).

      Save the Holiday

    • Review the details and click "Save" or "Confirm." Your holiday period will now be scheduled.

Additional Notes

  • Multiple Holidays: You can add multiple holiday periods if you have several planned time-offs.
  • Editing Holidays: If you need to update an existing holiday, locate it in the list of scheduled holidays, click "Edit," make the necessary changes, and save.
  • Canceling a Holiday: To cancel a holiday period, find the entry and click "x" or Cancel button.

  • Streamlined Scheduling: Managers can view your scheduled time away, and you will not receive any tasks during your Set Away or Holiday periods.
  • Transparency: Optional reasons provide context, improving better communication between vendors and managers.

2. Deactivate Account 

  • Vendors can now deactivate their account if they wish to stop receiving job from translayte. 
  • A confirmation step with a final warning ensures users are aware of the irreversible nature of this action. Once deactivated, vendors can no longer access their account functionalities.

  1. Can I modify the holiday period after scheduling it? 

Yes, you can edit or delete scheduled holidays via the Availability page. 

  1. What happens if I deactivate my account?
