Frequently Used Prompts

You have the ability to communicate with Cipher just as you would in daily interactions with your peers. These are prompt samples you can apply to fix translated file issues you may encounter. 

What you should do when multiple Text is Cut-off 

• Prompt: “Translation text is incomplete. Fit all text to page”

What you should do when specific Text is Missing 

• Prompt: “Insert [specific text]' under '[specific section]' as in the original” 

What you should do when Formatting/Layout is Wrong 

• Prompt I: “Replicate same layout and formatting as in the original” (For general text) 
• Prompt II: “At the bottom end of the page, replicate exact same formatting/ layout as is in the original” (For specific areas) 

What you should do when Table on the Translated file is Incorrect 

• Prompt I: “In the table titled [name], replicate same formatting and layout as in the original” 
• Prompt II: “In the 1st column of row [number], move the text in the 4th row to the 2nd row as in the original” 

What you should do when There Are Unnecessary Backgrounds/Frames 

• Prompt: “Remove frame, background, and watermark but leave text as is” 

What you should do when Text Still Doesn’t Show After Several Attempts 

• Prompt: “Reduce line spacing in [specific area] to make all text visible” 

if inside a stamp: “Reduce line spacing in the stamp circle to accommodate all text” 

if at bottom or specific area: “Reduce line spacing at the bottom of the page to view all text” 

What you should do if Cipher Keeps Text in Bold That Shouldn’t Be 

• Prompt I: “Do not Keep text in bold except the title of the document” 
• Prompt II: “Keep [sentence/text name] in bold” 

What you should do if a Text is Overlapped 

• Prompt I: “Move/place [specific text or sentence] directly under [specific text or sentence]” 
• Prompt II: “Move [specific text] to the right” 

What you should do if a Stamp or Logo is Wrongly Placed 

• Prompt I: “Move the logo/stamp under [specific text or area]” 
• Prompt II: “Move the logo/stamp beside [specific text or area]” 

What you should do when Revising Multi-Page Documents 

• Prompt I: Select the page number in the page number box before inputting the revision text 

What you should do to Maintain Consistency in Font and Text Style across multiple page documents 

• Prompt I: “Keep all text in Times New Roman, font size 14” (Repeat same instruction on each page) 
• Prompt II: “Keep all text in [preferred font and style]” 

*The key to efficient Cipher output is to be as specific as possible and use clear, concise human instructions.
