How to use Cipher Revision Tool as a Sworn Translator

This guide explains how sworn vendors can review translated documents and complete the signing process on Cipher. 


Before You Begin 

Ensure that you have: 

  • Accepted the assigned revision task 
  • Access to the order dashboard 
  • All required documents available in the Files section 

Step 1: Accept the Revision Task 

  • Accept the revision task to be assigned and begin working on the order. 

 

Step 2: Preview Available Files 

  • Navigate to the Files section of the order. 
  • You will see: 
  • Original Files 
  • Translated Files 
  • Signed Files 

     

 

Step 3: Review the Translated Document 

  • Click on Translated Files
  • Open the pre-translated document to access the compare screen mode and review document for accuracy. 

 

Step 4: Edit and Confirm Accuracy 

  • Click on Edit Translation to make all necessary text-based corrections. 
  • Ensure the translation is complete and accurate before signing. 

Step 5: Start Online Signing 

  • Click Sign Online to proceed. 

 

Step 6: Complete Signing on the Signing Platform 

  • You will be redirected to a secure third-party signing platform. 
  • Drag the signature icon to the appropriate position on the document. 
  • Click on the dragged icon to Add New Signature or Stamp

 

 

  • Select Finish to complete the signing process. 

Step 7: Return to Order Dashboard 

  • After signing, you will be automatically redirected to the Order Dashboard
  • Repeat the steps for all required documents. 
  • Send the completed documents to the client. 

 

Option 2: Sign Documents Offline (Alternative) 

Step 8: Download Document for Offline Signing 

  • Once Review is completed and translated file is accurate, Click More Options
  • Download the PDF file to your device. 

 

Step 9: Upload Signed Document 

  • Sign the document offline. 
  • Upload the signed file manually in the Signed Files section. 

Step 10: Send to Client 

  • Once the signed document is uploaded and verified, send it to the client. 

Important Notes 

  • Always complete your review before signing any document. 
  • Use the “Revise Document” when the documents layouts or formats on translated version are inaccurate 
  • Ensure that all required documents are signed before sending them to the client. 
  • Online signing is recommended for faster processing and submission.
